Fitting a complete new bathroom can be a time consuming difficult job especially if you’ve no experience, or know how, and jobs like the plumbing, or heating are best left to the qualified professionals, even the tiling, and grouting would usually be done by a competent builder.

Save Time and Money

Now you can save time, and money, and create just as good a look, if not better, with pvc panels such as Geo panels. Available in a variety of colours, and sizes these panels give your bathroom walls a waterproof, mould free, easy to clean surface that can even aid to combat condensation with they’re insulating qualities. A selection of matching trims are also available to finish off the edges, and joints, where you then only need to put a hidden seal of silicone, so no unsightly silicone or grout can be seen giving you a nice clean professional finish

Fitting of these panels can be done in two ways, firstly if your existing tiling is in good condition, mainly clean, and an even surface, then you may want to adhere the panels directly onto the tiles, saving you a huge amount of time getting them all off! To do this all you would need is a suitable panel adhesive, and silicone, so once the surface is ready you can literally cut the panels to size, and stick them directly onto the tiles using the adhesive. Leave a 3mm gap at the bottom where the panel meets the shower tray, bath etc for expansion, which you can fill with silicone along with all the joints and corners to give a water tight seal. The second fitting procedure if you choose to remove your tiles first is to fix a framework of 2x1 wooden battens to the walls, first fixed horizontally using suitable wall fixings at a distance of between 300 – 400mm apart, so you can then screw, or pin the panels in their grooves to the batten. The various corners, and joints etc that are used with the panels, are then sealed with silicone in the same way as the other method to finish off.
